The maximum size of a card that fits in the H-Series is 267 mm (L) × 98 mm (H) × 18/34 mm (D).
The High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is a compact audio/video connector interface for transmitting uncompressed digital streams.
HDMI supports, on a single cable, any TV or PC video format including standard, enhanced, and high-definition video along with up to 8 channels of digital audio.
So, if HDMI is able to transmit, both, video and audio simultaneously, then why can’t we hear audio from the SN78SH7’s HDMI port? The reason has to do with the nVidia Chipset driver. There appears to be a bug in the driver which prevents audio through the HDMI port from being, correctly, decoded and delivered through the port.
Though we cannot hear audio from the HDMI port, crystal clear video, does, come through the HDMI, just fine. While an updated driver is released to fix the HDMI audio issue, please use the onboard analog audio jacks in the back of the system for your audio needs.
