K45

In order to completely install I.C.E Genie and other parts, user must remove K45's and K48's motherboard out of the chassis.

Please see the step-by-step graphical illustrations:

1. Unplug the ATX 1 and 2 power connector from the motherboard.
   
2. Unplug the Front Panel internal USB cable from the motherboard.
   
3. Unfasten 3 screws from the back of K45 to take the power supply unit off the chassis.
   
4. Once the power supply unit is removed, please unfasten another 6 screws from the motherboard and remove the motherboard.
   
5. Fasten all 4 screw standoffs onto the platform.
   
6. Make sure each one of standoffs is properly screwed in.
   
7. Install the motherboard back in place, and make sure standoffs underneath line with the screw holes on motherboard.
   
8. Apply thermal compound on top of processor.
   
9. Install the I.C.E. Genie, fasten all four spring screws and plug the fan connector into FAN1 on the motherboard.
   
10. Reconnect the ATX 1 & 2 power connectors as well as the Front Panel USB cable and SATA cable.
    

K45 only support processor under TDP 65W, please go to Shuttle website checking support list and Intel website information.
