G-Series
The maximum size of a card that fits in the G-Series is 206 mm (L) × 98 mm (H) × 16 mm (D). But due to the different layout designs of each model and VGA card, we strongly suggest to check our VGA support list for each model or test before purchasing the VGA card.
I am unable to update/flash my BIOS, why?
Please check the jumper on JP4 first. If no jumper is set, please add a jumper cap to pin2 and pin3. If a jumper is installed on pin1 and pin2, please remove it and install it on pin2 and pin3.
Why does the "CPU Clock" under Frequency/Voltage Control in the CMOS Setup Utility only go up to 132 MHz and not to 165 MHz as mentioned in the manual?
If a 400 MHz CPU with a 100 MHz FSB is installed, the CPU clock ranges from 100 MHz to 132 MHz. If a 533 MHz CPU with an FSB of 133 MHz is installed, the CPU clock ranges from 133 MHz to 165 MHz.
How can I run my DDR-333 (PC2700) memory module at 333 MHz while using an Intel CPU with an FSB of 100 MHz?
According to Intel's chipset specifications, it is:
- FSB 400 MHz and DDR-200 supported.
- FSB 400/533 MHz and DDR-266 supported.
- FSB 533 MHz and DDR-333 supported.
As standard guidelines:
- When using a CPU with an FSB 100(400) MHz, DDR can only run DDR333 (PC2700) at 266 MHz.
- When using a CPU with and FSB 133(533) MHz, DDR-333 (PC2700) can run at both 266 MHz and 333 MHz.
