The Intel Ultra ATA driver enables RAID functions. If you are not using these functions, please ignore this driver.

Yes, but first you will need to update your BIOS to the latest version as well as install the Intel IAA Utility version 4.5 or later. You are now ready to enable the Hot-Plug feature in BIOS.

To install the Intel Chipset drivers on the SB81P after Windows XP installation, first install service pack1 (SP1). SP1 can be downloaded from the Microsoft website and install in a matter of minutes. SP1 optimizes Windows XP to support the latest hardware, such as the 915G. After installing SP1, install driver CD and follow the onscreen instructions.

Shuttle has engineered an innovative method for delivering more power to PCI-E cards. If you have experience problem with no post screen or system unstable after use PCI-E graphic card, please use the FDD power cable that comes with the product and connect the FDD power connector from the cable to the ATX3(red) connector on the motherboard. This will prevent problem when a power intensive PCI-E VGA card that will be introduced in the future.

On normal condition, you are not require to use this connector.

If you have a PCI-E video card installed and you adjust the PCI clock feature in BIOS to “Sync by CPU clock” or “Fixed 33MHz” settings, the system will need to reconfigure itself. On occasions this will lead to system failure. To resolve this issue, simple press the reset button.
